PAST Galerie Fortlaan 17 opende in september 1989 voor het eerst haar deuren als een levendig centrum voor internationale hedendaagse kunst. Naast tal van opvallende tentoonstellingen, heeft de galerie verscheidene publicaties uitgegeven en een groot aantal activiteiten georganiseerd. De galerie selecteerde zorgvuldig professionele kunstenaars op basis van de kwaliteit van hun werk in verschillende disciplines, gaande van schilderijen en sculpturen over tekeningen en foto’s tot installaties en multimedia-producties.
PRESENT In september 2008 start Galerie Fortlaan 17 haar 20ste tentoonstellingsseizoen. Als aanloop naar haar 20ste verjaardag presenteert Galerie Fortlaan 17 de tentoonstelling PAST PRESENT FUTURE met een keuze uit de hoogtepunten van de voorbije jaren en tegelijkertijd een sneak preview… FUTURE

Apart from presenting striking exhibitions it has
edited various publications and staged a large number of events. The gallery has carefully selected a number of professional artists on the basis of the quality of their work, ranging from paintings, and sculpture, to drawings and photography, to installations and multimedia-

PAST La Galerie Fortlaan 17 a ouvert ses portes en
septembre 1989 et propose un véritable centre vivant d’art contemporain international. En plus de présenter des expositions saisissantes, la galerie offre un vaste agenda d’activités diverses et s’occupe de nombreuses publications. La galerie a sélectionné des artistes professionnels qui s’expriment dans toutes les disciplines,
allant de la peinture à la sculpture en passant par le dessin et la photo ainsi que des installations et productions multi-média.
